Minimum Computer Requirements
Your children's computer needs to be:
- Pentium II or higher computer
- 128Meg RAM
- 20Mb Hard Drive space
- SVGA Display 800 x 600 with 256 or more colours
- Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, NT or XP
- Active internet connection
Most computers in use today using Microsoft Windows will meet these minimum system requirements. If you are not sure, please speak with your computer supplier. Please note that ChatAlert! is not compatible with Apple Mac computers.
Minimum Alert and Response Requirements
For email alerts and email responses:- Active email account capable of sending and receiving emails (for receiving)
- Web browser with internet access (for responding)
For SMS text alerts:- Mobile Phone capable of sending and receiving Premium SMS (text) messages
- SMS text service requires active mobile phone with SMS text capabilities within range of your telco service provider.
Note. Premium SMS services are usually charged at a rate above standard SMS text rates, but are required to ensure timely delivery of alerts and your responses.
